I am from Madeira Island, Portugal. I have a degree in Dietetics. I have landed in Singapore in 2012 and I’m an Accredited Dietitian of Singapore, member of the Singapore Nutrition and Dietetic Association (SNDA), International Member of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics and member of the Center for Mindful Eating.
I love how science and nutrition are so dynamic. While others read fictional books, I read articles and the latest evidence around nutrition, so I can bring you the best and most recent information.
My expertise - Mediterranean Diet, Mindful eating, Nutrigenomics. This keeps my approach to dietary advice multi-faceted.

I am a communicator, and I embrace every opportunity for me to share my knowledge about nutrition and healthy eating.
I have conducted more than 140 health talks, most of them in the last years, to varied groups of people, from children to elderly. The bulk of my work has been done with large corporates such as Far East Organization, Mappletree investments, Capitaland, JLL, JP Mogan, J&J, NTU and Mediatek.
Confucius said “Choose a job you love, and you will never have to work a day in your life.” I was lucky to find my calling in educating and helping people to restore health through diet and food.
Experience
2005-2010 - Degree in Dietetics and post-grad degree in Health Administration and Management. Worked on projects for students and the general population in the south of Portugal to bring awareness of the Mediterranean diet and healthy eating.
2008 - Internship at the General Hospital of Madeira, Portugal
2010-2011 - Dietitian in a clinical setting in Madeira, Portugal
2012-2016 - Raffles Hospital, Singapore.
At Raffles Cancer Centre, developed the cancer support programme for patients and families, organized tumor board meeting, nutrition support of patients. In Raffles Endocrine Centre worked with inpatients and outpatient settings and consulted patients in diverse areas such as (but not exclusively) diabetes and gestational diabetes, Cardiovascular Disease, Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS), Irritable Bowel Disease (IBD) and other gastrointestinal conditions; gout; nutrition support; renal disease; ICU; eating disorders; weight management. Conducted weight management and cholesterol management programmes for corporate and individuals, health talks and workshops for the general public and corporates.
2017-2018 - Worked with Singapore Cardiologist Dr Peter Ting and his team in developing the concept of prescribed meals that lead to the opening of a hawker stall that provided meals catered to individuals’ needs. Responsible for all processes in this project. Concurrently, mentored nutritionists in a sister company called Cardiatrics.
2018-now Working with several clinics and medical companies in Singapore including MyDoc, The Choolani Clinic, Arden JR Surgery, Icon Cancer Centre, Curie Oncology, health2mama, Phoenix Rehab and Counseling Perspective. Working closely with specialists in the field of cardiology, endocrinology, fertility and obstetrics, general, bariatric and orthopaedics surgery to ensure all patients have the best outcome.
2020-2022 - Health Promotion Board approved health coach and Nutrition talks speaker.
